    Emmanuel Adjovi holds a doctorate in law (defended in 2011 at the University Abomey-Calavi, Bénin), and is the Regional representative of the Office of the International Organization of Francophonia (OIF) for the Caribbean and Latin America (REPCAL) since 2020, after being the Director of the regional bureau of the same region. He began his career at the OIF in 2002 as head of the Media Programme (2002-2010) and then of the "Information Society" programme (2010-2018). He graduated from the Centre de formation des journalistes (CFJ, Paris, 1993). In Benin, he was deputy director and secretary-general of the editorial staff of the press Agency Proximités (1997-2002).
